Midnight Silk Iapetus Skirt's feather is also hand painted in metallic fabric paint, which makes the top glistens under spotlights or sunshine.  Since this skirt is designed with the zero-waste pattern making technique, there are 2 seams at the front of the skirt. We utilized 97% of the 1.5 yard of silk charmeuse to make this skirt.  Iapetus is a Titan and the father of Prometheus and Epimetheus.  This skirt has a large and fancy feather right across skirt front.

"Hope" is the key inspiration for our Fall 2020 collection.  One of the oldest tale of "hope" appeared in Ancient Greek's mythology, Pandora's Box.  We took from Emily Dickinson’s poem “Hope is the thing with Feathers”, and created various beautiful feather motives hand painted to the garments.  Similar with wearing evil eye jewelries to ward off evil spirits, we wish the feather motives will encourage people with hope, faith, and love.  As we have perservered from various disasters and traumatic events throughout history, we will survive and prevail once again!
